Hailey Powers Turnblad is a founding partner of Evans and Turnblad, LLC. She grew up in Marlboro County, South Carolina, and then attended Clemson University for college, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Legal Studies. She graduated with honors from law school in 2007 as part of the inaugural class of the Charleston School of Law in Charleston, South Carolina. After law school, Hailey clerked for the Honorable Casey L. Manning in Columbia, South Carolina, and then returned home to Marlboro County to work with her father as an associate at Powers Law Firm in Bennettsville, South Carolina. At Powers Law Firm, Hailey handled personal injury, criminal defense, probate and family law cases. In 2014, she became the Managing Attorney for the Florence County Department of Social Services, where she prosecuted Child Abuse and Neglect cases, until beginning work at Evans and Turnblad on January 1, 2019. Hailey focuses her private practice on family law and criminal defense. She is a member of the Florence County Bar Association and admitted to practice in the District Courts for the State of South Carolina.
Hailey lives in Florence with her two children and two dogs and enjoys spending time with her family at the beach.
